FINAL DRIVE BOLTS

i spent half day helping cain bleed his brake on his MPS3, and we tried to replace the brake line to braided only to find it need a flared spanner to open the OEM line...


so after i am done with cain's car, i continue on with my LSD stuff... i bought a vise to hold the diff unit that kept on rotating when i tried to unbolt the final drive bolts...


the bolts are done up real tight, i supposed it need to be...


now after all the bolts are off the old diff unit, i screw them into the 4.1 final drive gear on the lsd unit... and tighten them on with by bit one across each other similar to star pattern when we tighten wheel nuts



at some point, it got stuck and i hit evenly around the side with pieces of wood and a mallet


and tighten all the bolt till the final drive gears meets the LSD unit with no gap... i haven't torque it all up... i decided to take a rest and continue tomorrow...
