hehehe, havent been writting anything on this bloody blog of mine... getting a little bit busy at the moment...

hmmm, the company i work for, Computer Associates, were doing rebranding and renaming the company. this was last monday, but surprisingly, monday morning went to my desk and found this big card board of a picture of the new name for CA (computer associates)... and the new name is...... CA! yes... CA rename become CA!?!?

what the hell??!??! CA rename become CA? mind as well not doing any rebranding at all... ok ok, i must admit the logo has changed... A BIT!... hehehe, but its all good, doesnt really bother me, but it does bother most of my workmate... lol, CA might be the 3rd biggest software company after Microsoft and Oracle, but i guess i just cant see how they manage to do the smallest change with such big fund... lol

oh, talking about work mate, one of my close friend at work ask me to do review on his behaviour...lol and personality... ok then i'll do it here...dont worry bro, i wont mention your name...

ok, where do i begin, first let me start with you brainy big head... lol... your smart thinking, wide range of knowledge, strong will to learn more and analysis skill always amuse me. i've seen and been amazed by God gifts but never seen anything like yours. but of course God is fair to us, as you also got weakness... you can be extremely lazy and cant be f*ck doing anything if you dont see the point and you are addicted to gadget and binary bits.

i like how you can express you feeling freely, being upfront, grumpy to almost anything and everthing, and sometimes you got too many things inside your head... im not telling you to underestimate on this life.... im just saying, relax abit bro... enjoy a little, before you know it, you'll be old and crumple... lol...

im agree with you about chasing your dream and setting your goals, as life is gonna be so F*Ckin boring without them, but dont forget to keep/set your feet on the ground. dream will always be dream if you dont put your heart into it....

about personality, its funny that how since we first met, i can almost see 70% of me in you... lol what? i know... its sounds gay... :P but few things that make you unique.

you are not a really good listener, coz when someone talking, you either cut them in or not with it... lol but thats what make me enjoy talking to you, coz i like a good debate.... when you think and agree about 'A' and then someone come forward and tell you that they agree about 'A', most of the time you will try to convince the about 'B'... its like a mind game kinda thing.

you like to tell people about the right things and to DO the right thing... but one thing you should remember, dont get pissed of disappointed when they dont listen, coz they hav their own responsibility to decide and consequences to face... you care too much about other... which is a good thing in one way but also not good in other way coz it gave you too much burden when things goes bad. i think you should be a priest rather than a IT professional huahahahhahaha. faithful and hardworking on what you focus on is your diamond.

congrats with the marriage this december and good luck on your transfer next year. i'll be here as i love melbourne... i'll stay here as long as i could... love the environment, the road, the lifestyle... but i hate the tax, the fines, the wheather...

well, the calder drag went ok,... not so good but ok... my best time was 15.6 @ 87mph... well, is close enough to my 15.5 prediction... but i think i could do better, around 15.4 coz i stuff up my 60feet launch (2.4sec)... i did 2.2 sec 60feet before... that 0.2 difference, so its possible to get 15.4 damn

and on the sunday, i did dyno days with toyota forum boys.... only did 95.5KW ATW... damn, but yeah, i forget that my tyre pressure was still 22psi (from the drag)... i think i need to service my car soon... sounded abit rough

then yesterday, hav a greet and meet with boys from OZmazdaclub.com...was fun... very friendly and nice ppl they were... then we had lunch at D'lish Fish, at pier, beaconsfield... soooooooooo yummy.... love the tar2

Oh, btw, i reckon my favorite burger now is 'grilld' - it a relatively new burger shop... one near swinburne prahran, one in hawthorn... very very very nice... yummy and addictive... the burger SO BIG man... but price is the down side... well i guess its no different with nandos...

Tomorrow is a big day

Please no rain please!!!! the wheather forecast said it gonna rain/shower tomorrow... hopefuly for this once they're wrong... well, finally the calder park drag nite is very near.... now i can't sleep... gotta work tomorrow, but still cant sleep... too excited... well, i guess i'll give my office's work to aswin tomorrow, and i'll sleep in the carpark... :P jk jk

at work this past 2 days is good, learning a lot of stuff... but also bad, coz i feel like 'information overload'... well, at least it better than doing the 'ethics' test... we learn software testing procedure... hmmmm interesting... but yeah, every time i ask my mate, aswin, to explain something to me, i feel like a small earth worm facing an anaconda (well, aswin does look like anaconda abit when he yawn)

well, cleaned my air filter tonite at my mate's place, paul. i havent been cleaning it since the sydney trip... when i pull my POD filter out, it was black! (u know, its supposed to be red) darker than my exhaust tip... :( so, rush to 'super cheap auto' in rowville - they're the only one that open till 8pm - and get the cleaning kit... feel better now...

met this 200sx on the way home... i swear to God, i saw this HUGE ASS flame come out from his exhaust, then i try to follow... then on the next traffic light, i was side by side with him... so i thought i'd give it a try, i know i know.... before u all say something, there is no way my Big Fat Ass 2.3lt L4 FWD NA gonna have a chance against sleek L4T 2lt RWD weigh 200kg lighter than my car... but hey! i just want to know how far i lose to him... :P

i know i'm crap at launching above 3000rpm... so i just try from 2000rpm... that guy smile at me, then turn green, i launch first, jump around 1 car length ahead... i was thinking "hey i could win! yeah!!!! wooohooo..." but fuck!! as soon as he put 1st gear, VROOOOOOM COOZZZZZ, then another VROOOOM COOOZZZ, then he is suddenly 4-5 car length ahead of me (-__- #)... (T__T) make me really want my MX-5 with 13BTT.... hiks hiks... oh well, it was fun anyway... but i have even finish my second gear.... (T__T)

1st day at work

first day was pretty good, met some new ppl, the office is pretty big, some how the ceiling look like a dinosaur's spine, in orange colour :P

atm havent got my own cubicle, has "simon corlette" name on it :( but yeah, my manager told me i'm getting new comp soon. atm still using 'flat brain' hohoho... my position is Quality Assurance (QA) here. sounds so wrong if it was in nandos, :P coz back in nandos, QA means testing all the food before we give it to customer... hmmmm taste this, taste that... :)

today is my second day, got pretty early today and guess what? FREE breakfast! i missed it yesterday... this place is good man, even when i was in nandos i dont get free breakfast lol... when one of my mate, aswin, told me about the free breakfast, i was abit suspicious, i thought i have to deduct it from my pay or something... lol somehow i feel really dumb here, surrounded by lots of good programmer, i remembered my first time worked as photographer didnt get this much pressure... well, at least this first week, i only hav to do series of quiz about "ethics" which my co-worker, aswin, like very much... hohoho jk win, thx for the 'brute force' method.... good to kill time :P

well, got my parking space today, and took picture for ID card... wasnt that good, i look like inmate :( just add the knife and gun... lol oh well...

is few extra dollars u earn worth losing a friend? i agree that a true friend will forgive you, but hurting them is not something you should've done in the first place... i dont mean to get involve in your problem, but if theres anything i can do or help, i'm here... i'm listening... money is not everything, and friendship should last forever... this might sounds gay to you... :P

its never a good thing to lie in the first place, whether its to your friend or only to someone u know few hours ago... and you live by reputation bro, please stop it... thats not worth it... i know ur a good guy deep inside. i couldnt direct this to you directly coz i know you would shut u ears and avoid me afterward... others been wondering whats seem to be your problem... shared it if you want, but i u dont want, do whatever makes u happier...

other thing is 'respect'... thats what we need... its not a privilege, but it something that u gotta earn... one of my best friend once told me - "...telling or saying bad things about others doesnt make you a better person..." - i hate to say this to you, but you HAVE to try to change, coz you're losing friends... its easy to make new friends, but to make them stay, you need a friendship...

but, i dont like the face of the shift light LED box... so i bought 'matrix' 3 way interior LED light and connect them to the pivot shiftlight module... and cut off the original LED box... so its become like this...

this pics shows how stiff mazda3 body and chassis is... i only jack up the front left side and the whole back lifted up like crazy....





with photoshop, i made few option of the colour combo pattern...



after i decided which one i want, then i called OZGLOSS for a nice paint job.... so let the painting begins...

semi bucket seats - WRX seat conversion

now... my problem is:
1. i want racing seat, but recaro kill my butt... also expensive... huahuahuahahahaha... im abit tight on interior wise...

2. my current sp23 stock seats are comfy, but it didnt hug at all...

so... i call around wrecker to look for second hand wrx seats... coz pehul27 said thats its comfy but hug very well... its ended up one guy is selling it from brisbane... so i bought it from him


and i make custom mount for it. thx to nelson for the welding....

now is the lip... the lip that i got is the 'garage vary' lip made from OEM material... very very flexible...

now that the carbon bonnet is on... the red grill looks funny... so i bought 'garage vary' grill and spoiler.... (ok the spoiler got nothing to do with it... its just my excuse to rice... )

putting Oil Catch Tank on Non turbo can doesnt really gives any real benefit but also dont give any disadvantage.... ^_^

but i love the look of it and im installing it.... huahahahaha

AWR rear engine mount upgrade... :)

the next mod is the stiff engine mount! i bought it from AWR - USA.... its help to reduce the hopping while you launch (on FWD)
