i found that the front 2 shocks are leaking badly... so i rang around for parts.. the funny thing in indo is, labour cost next to nothing... it cost me the same price for the shocks installed or not installed... i called about 15 stores just to make sure i got the right price.... so i decided to bring it to the workshop since its cheap...
and guess what... they have like 5 people working on one car... LOL... the job finish in less than 2 hours... lol
i was shocked that the previous owner use 2 different kind of spark plug, 4 for BMW, and the other 2 are for Mercedes benz. i supposed that is ok... they all iridium, but at the moment i have no budget for the iridium one so the normal one will do...
the plumb back to the T connector is broken. but cable ties and duct tape fix everything right?
the leaking suspension being removed...
the car has sit in the storage for 6months before i bought it... so i think it would be wise to change the oil too... just in case...
they also cleaned the injectors, TB, and replace few broken fuse...
i'm low on cash, so i replaced the front bilstein inserts with the OEM Sachs / Boge inserts.. cost half of the bilstein... this will have to do for now...
i also got the idle adjusted and tune up. the car runs very smooth now...
TO DO NEXT:
- the brake seems hard. still bites but really late. its either the booster or the one way valve.
- Fuel pump seems weak, less than 1/4 of tank on uphill, the car wont start.
- the central locking would unlock but wont lock, i had to lock it from the boot.
- the 2 rear power window L&F is rusty and stuck...
- no interior lights! damn...
- Manual gearbox conversion
