FENDER BENDER
since i fit the 16x8 ET+15, the rear keep rubbing... so for now i need to roll the guard... or grind it off... i am not joking...
i get it done at Autostyle: Mr. Amin is very friendly and helpful. he also gave advice how to adjust the height of the rear and the chronic rear camber i had
http://www.facebook.com/autostyle
so he recommend me to raised the rear with Valen, spring stopper... i was skeptical at first, but i thought i gave it a try... what it does is turn the spring into more progressive (it will compress the parts without the valen first, and then the part with valen)... the result was unbelievable! well because i wasn't expecting it to work... hahaha $30USD for 1 pair
and $10USD for rear guard/fender rolling
and $10 for heat proof caliper painting... hahahaha I KNOW I KNOW!!! but but its gotta be red right???
and align it 0 toe front and -2.2 atm. rear is -2 and 2mm toe in.
well... here is quick before and after shots

Searching for the right Drive Shaft
Searching for the right Drive Shaft
my drive shaft have pretty bad vibration from 60kmh - 120kmh.... that is pretty much my whole driving range on highway...
because some stupid mechanic who i rather not mention here, insist that the cross joint on the driveshaft are serviceable, but i said it is not. so since he is so sure, i trusted him and now he couldnt put it back centered. so his workshop has to buy me replacement driveshaft. since i know the owner pretty well, and i don't want him to fork out too much $$ because of his stupid mechanic, so i offered him that i can look for a replacement one on the junk yard, as long as it doesn't vibrate...
so i call around and do abit of research online, and find myself one of a major wrecker in jakarta around pejaten area.
so i found few options that would fit, now its a matter of bargaining for the right price and mix and match few of the better example
SHIFTER GATE/PISTON CAP
i also have told the mechanic that he need to seal the shifter gate properly, but he insisted that the 20 years old C-ring clip is strong enough... so on sentul the cap get pushed out by the shifter gate/piston. this small piston is attached to a spring which will allow me to go from neutral position to 1st/2nd gear or if i press harder, it will go to reverse gear. because the gate is gone, there is no separation between shifting to 1st or reverse... hope that make sense... hahaha anywayyyy all is sealed now
also the rear diff seal wasn't installed properly, i had to get the other workshop who sold me the drive shaft to fix it for me. bloody hell...
now the car has stopped being a gain vibrator, i can wash all the remains from all the past victims... hahaha jk

UPDATE: wheels and strut revalved
Wheel upgrade XXR 501 16x8 ET+15
my previous wheels was 16x7 ET+35 and on some turn it will rub inside the wheel well and front strut.... it also rub some parts of my inside guard...
however i personally like the size (16) not too small or too big... so decided to get wider stance to push the wheel out... the 8inch width is so i can fit 225 in the future after rolling the guard...
here are the pics when i pick it up from OTR, thanks to johnny... had to hand carry 2 of them from melb to jakarta... literally (missed my flight from KL to singapore and had to take bus instead hahaha no more... no more)... the other 2 way carried by my brother when he visit me in melbourne...
here are the pics of the stretched 205/50/16...
here are the back with 205/55/16... it rubs, but i changed to 195/50/16 the next day (forgot to take pic)... once the front tyre is gone (soon), i will use 195/50/16 all around...
pic of it with the revalved strut...
Strut Revalving by MUZE
i went to MUZE to harden the four stock strut to match my lowered spring and shorten the strut at the same time. (re-gassed)
here are the final shot with 195/50/16 at the rear at sentul... didn't ended up tracking my car as the gearbox gate/pin for 1-2-R shot out and fluid leaks thru.... also my diff main seal leaks... the driveshaft also vibrate at 120kmh which i found out on the way to sentul... will have to fix it up ASAP...
next is wheel alignment i got massive toe out at the front after lowering...
