it is always a good moment everytime i am back in melbourne, running to my backyard and opened my E30 car cover or garage door wherever i left it at on the previous trip...
a sample of one of the day that i love where there is more than 1 red car around... such as tomatoes and red pepper...
a large chilli with abit of mustard and cucumber to balance the diet
and a limping strawberry surgery in the garage

Random Post AHIRU related
Sizes matter?
not much been happening to my AHIRU K11 Micra... so here just few random shots of sizes comparo hahaha
MINI (BMW) VS K11 MICRA
i always wanted to know the sizes differences between these 2 cars and happened to park next to one at multilevel carpark...
front the front they are pretty similar
from the mini side, you cannot see the micra
from the micra side, you can see abit of the mini... so micra is just a tad smaller
AHIRU VS PADDINGTON
my ahiru look like a tallboy compared to paddy... damn you tom
Mugsee's BEAT paddy?
one icy morning woke up only to find a frozen ahiru hahaha sorry... never seen frosty morning in melbourne suburbs

ISOM3 - 3rd / Final Day - The Race!
Result:
5th place BMW Open class - Super Touring
we meet at Tekno tuner base as usual. when i arrived, Indra showed me the result from previous night tuning on Shirosame... 240hp i think its more than what i need as i only had 225hp on the 1st race and i already felt quite competitive...
loading up the car
drove it up myself with melly to sentul circuit
met Mr. Faizal who is in charged on the scrutineer and has helped me alot thru the scrutineering process.
me and mel waiting for the car to be ready
time to remove the passenger seat and install new front tyres...
lucky that i did the final check myself and found that the brake pad running low... so i asked for the replacement one to be installed only to find that one of us left it back at the wokrshop, 60km away... in indonesia (jakarta) it translates into 1-1.5 hour journey due to the traffic. and the race will start in 15min
and lucky Anind, my mate, arrived and he has 525i e34 with the same front brake pads... as i am using E34 front caliper... so as you would've guessed, we took his, and we will install the ned brake pad to his car when it arrives in 40min-1hour
indra, tekno tuner's chief, getting owned
everything done in few mins and we still have 10 minutes to spare to catch up with few mates from other team and do a quick prayer, so if i got killed i wont go straight to hell hahaha jk
Lining up on the grid. due to the fuel cut and car problem yesterday, we only got 7th position on the grid. i have alot catching up to do
then the race begin... by the 7th lap i took the 3rd position on overall combined class grid... and i am already 1st position on my class... (this race combined few classes together)
and on the last 3 lap this happened... blew my engine... i was furious as i got 3 more lap to fight for the 2nd position...
straight after the race, we had to gather to have the post race inspection, (in case anyone made any changes after the initial scrut)
now onto the podium, i was surprised that i still got the overall 5th position due to points but i lost my class trophy due to DNF...
the only real highlight on this round was that my dear mel is here to share the pain and joy of this race with me...
thank you for Indra from Tekno Tuner again... he look sad coz he was shocked about the blown engine... but i told him its ok as we will find out the cause later... now its not the time to worry about it...
and catching up with my other racer mate... and the security guards
after all the chit chat done, we inspect the car further, we found out that the main tensioner bolt for the timing belt has snapped off clean... causing the timing goes off, valve and piston kissing , and so on... here are the debris and the hole on my 4th cylinder wall
at least now i have souvenir to be later used as coffee table... oh well... at least we find out the problem... we will be back stronger and build faster M20 motor
thank you again for melly suherman for the endless support and love... tekno tuner, especially mr. indra santoso, for their non stop hard work and high spirit... also for building me an m20 as savage as this 240hp sample... i was neck to neck with the E36 running M50B28 and M50B30, which has 2 more valves per cylinder, dohc, and lighter fibre body panels... my job is also alot easier with alot of available and usable power across the rev ranges from tekno tuner's M20B28 provided to me... also thank you to Anind for those amazing photos... thanks again mate, and for everyone else involved and made all this possible...
my tyres also suffer from weird wear pattern... we suspect this is due to lack of negative camber...
another minor problem, broke the key on my support van car so we gotta fix that before we can go home hahahaha
Mr. Indra, Tekno Tuner's Chief, falling asleep and got what he deserved hahaha
till the next race!
