as a member of BMWCCI, i was invited to the MOCI day (al the M cars trackday) and we can use the track for free after 1pm.... so i went and did 8 laps.

this is my 3rd visit to sentul with my BIMMO E30 325... the 1st visit my clutch gave up after few laps (got 2:08), and the 2nd visit i didn't even track because the gearbox was leaking. so here it is!

its 2 second improvement over the previous PB (2:0. the differences are fresh hankook V8 195/50/16, fixed the muffler rusty leak and SACH rear spring + valen. the rest remain unchanged.

the track was quite empty with few E36 323, and 328 (MST 323?), and 2 E30 M40. i was there quite late (around 2pm) so most others has gone

and here are the video... sorry about the camera mount at the end. this time i didn't really push the car like what i did on the first trackday and brake abit early. i am also still skeptical doing rev match while downshifting...


i believe there is a lot of room for improvement once i have a proper stronger gearbox for it. and i think 2:04-5 is quite achievable if i can push harder. at the moment, if i shift at 6000rpm into 4th, the gear lever will popped back to neutral

so after 8 laps, i stopped and decided to have late lunch with the others instead:
