Long needed update! :) HID + LSD + Tune Up + Steering Bushing

haven't post any update for a while, so here we go:

Steering Bushing
was on the highway, and the steering felt abit laggy and over bumps the car would go left or right and i have to keep making small adjustment... i thought one of the wheel was loose, ball joint, tier rod etc.... but then jack up the car and everything was solid, no movement... then when i put the car back down, the steering wheel has little play, and i found that the bushing connecting 2 piece of steering rod has shattered...

costed me Rp.90,000... around $12AUD

HID 8000k
i dont usually do this but the old wiring on the E30 starting to stresses me out, one bumps and one light goes out, another bump it goes back on and the other one goes out, sometimes both... i have retighten all the connector with pliers and still happening... got this

costed me Rp. 850,000... around $100AUD installation costed me Rp. 150,000 around $18AUD
  



Tune up the valve clearance and AFM
the car idles funny on traffic jam again, and finally bring the car for tune up and check up. result:
- valve clearance out of adjustment
- TB position sensor came off o_O!!!!
- rocker cover gasket leaking oil...
costed me:
- rocker cover gasket replacement Rp.130,000 ($16AUD) installed
- tune up Rp. 150,000 ($18AUD)
 


ZF type LSD from E36 325, and 4.1 final drive + pinion installation
installed by CAD&RMC in kelapa gading, 200m from my house  thx to Alvin and Iwan.


open the diff and take all the parts out for inspection.
   

open diff left (M40 E30), ZF LSD E36 right (clutch type)


diff all assembled and installed back to the car...
  

they also cut MDF for custom audio install and this is what happened to my car after few hours 


at least they made a list, handwritten or not, they didn't miss any request 


Changed Fluids and Oil
i am using this fluid for the LSD, never heard the brand but supposed to be good...


i also change the gearbox fluid to Redline MTL... (no picture yet)

and the engine oil to massimo RACING 3 10W40... never heard as well, but its supposed to be very good...
