Ottosan Update :)

Leaking Clutch Pressure Hose
so my guess was right, the clutch pressure hose has hair line crack... thus losing pressure.... replaced it

Replaced New Brake Disc and bleed the brake
was surprised that this merc use brembo as it's OEM Disc Brake....

Rubber Spring Seat
just found out that the merc has different height rubber spring seat. i was on '1 dot' at the front (the lowest) and '3 dot' on the back (the highest)... so i replaced the back to the '1 dot' and the front to the '2 dot'....
now its more leveled than before

SHIROSAME [白鮫]

Some folk story from indonesia...

Few cars and the drivers have been missing whilst racing around Hilir Dam (Bendungan Hilir). the Dam water came from the verocious river called Riverside.

The Locals believed that there is one Freshwater White Shark lurking in the Riverside... called Shirosame (read: see-row-sa-mae. 白鮫) which rumor has it that Shirosame has rusty Metal skin, scale and bones, with 6 hearts and only swim using its rear rubber fins. This Shark has never been seen, but again the rumor has it that the amount of pollution, junk and rubbish in the river has made the Shirosame mutated into amphibians Shark and capable of roaming outside the water...

So last night i dreamt about this mighty Shark and try to recreate the image of Shirosame... i came up with few results... i am pretty sure it would most probably look like the top 2, but who knows??

sorry for the bu!!sh!t Very Happy

Muffler's Neck Broken

Muffler's Neck Broken Sad
the micra suddenly sounds like fart and i can hear loud metal knocking sound every corner...

turned out that the muffler broke around the nexk due to rust around the welding area, and the pipe fell off and hitting the rear axle...

so i drove to Unique exhaust and got a replacement one for $80(installed) straight thru muffler, replacing the old offset muffler...

Rear Bumper and Number Plate Surround

Rear Bumper Fitting
i bought the car with tow bar and the rear bumper holder has been modified and welded to the tow bar. so i purchase 2 rear bumper holder from indo wrecker ($10 for pair).

but the bumper bracket that i have is shorter than the bumper holder, so the cutting begins (thank you dan for the help!)

cut about 1cm off the holder

after the cutting...

rear bumper back on

Number plate surround
as it is quite old, the matt black number plate surround turned grey, so i decided to paint it matt black to freshen it up...
